One forum, one calendar. Monthly facilitated Leadership Exchanges, closed public-sector roundtables, implementation guidance after each major exchange, and one curated founding flagship.
How programming is set
Programming begins with implementation problems submitted or validated by public-sector participants. A challenge raised by members becomes a Leadership Exchange, may continue into a closed roundtable, and produces implementation guidance that goes back to the membership.
HALSO facilitates each step rather than hosting a calendar and hoping the right conversation happens.
The calendar
Monthly · Second Thursdays
A focused, actively facilitated virtual programme on the second Thursday of every month: one problem submitted or validated by public-sector participants, practical peer questions, and follow-through inside the community. Beginning Thursday, October 8, 2026. The programme title and contributors are being confirmed.
Periodic · Closed
Small, invitation-based discussions of verified public-sector officials, virtual or in person when the topic and operating capacity justify it. No recording. Commercial participants cannot purchase entry, and takeaways are anonymized when they can help the wider membership.
Following each major exchange
HALSO will produce concise implementation guidance, or an implementation brief, capturing practical approaches, unresolved questions, and considerations for future work. Nothing confidential or attributable is published without permission.
February 2027 · New York City
A curated founding convening: 25–40 participants, at least 60 percent public sector, working sessions rather than presentations, and no exhibition floor. Venue, day-level date, and participation details will follow.
Participation
The flagship is the smallest part of membership. The monthly rhythm never requires a flight, and every exchange is built to be useful to someone joining from an agency office.
